As I type these words I am dealing with an overflow of frustration.
I am trying to power through and be productive despite
wanting to throw a fit.
For me the worst part about overflowing with frustration is
that I make more mistakes and have to repeat previous actions.
Which of course leads to increased feelings of frustration.
We can be frustrated by the things we have to do and the
things we signed up to do. Frustration also comes when
we can't do what we want to do, regardless of the cause.
I can be frustrated by my own actions, the actions of others,
and the inaction of others.
Frustration is an illusion. It is based on expectations that
we create in our own mind. Instead of taking control
and modifying our expectations, we choose frustration.
Frustration is a thief. It wastes our time and creates no solutions.
When we let frustration rule, we find ourselves in a Victim stance.
Frustration is an unpleasant emotion. That means we need to feel it
and then let it go. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. It is time
to overcome frustration with action.
What is frustrating you today?
For me it is a combination of very little things, coupled with the fact that
I need to eat something.
What can I do?
I can eat something, let some of the small things go for today, and
ask for help with the other things.
Let's bust frustration today and get back to thriving?
Lightbulb Moment! I choose action over frustration.
